Update

Alright I'll be honest, its been like 10 months since I updated this and I'm sure its probably about time I do update it.

What I'm going to choose to-do is highlight the cool stuff thats happened since my last update, and leave all the crap out. Sounds like a good idea right? Yeah I sure come up with some good ideas.

The most recent and notable thing is my job. Last May I started working at Apple as a contractor through a company named Volt. A quick sum up of this job is IT FREAKIN ROCKS. Ok ok.... what is it I do there? Well you see when someone has a problem with their iPhone, they call us.... good ole tech support. Now what makes this job so cool?
A Few Reasons
  1. I work at Apple, like duh!
  2. Its the most stable job I've had in about 2 years.
  3. Being tech savvy guy I've picked up quickly.
  4. I help people solve problems.
I'm sure I could go on and on, but I wont. So lets see, ah another thing that happened about 3 days into starting this job (at least the training class) was my car decided to throw a rod through the pan. What does that mean? My engine is blown and repairing it isn't even an option. In this situation you can only replace the whole engine. So what I decided to-do was ride a bicycle. Never mind the TONS of money saved in gas, but its totally healthy and all that stuff for ya to. Who would have thought? I ended up spending $550 for a new bike, plus about another $150 on accessories. Few notable things like a pump, helmet, bike computer, tools, etc etc. Best money I've ever spent.

So now that I've taken up cycling as a hobby. I decided to push my self. Now as it stands I currently ride ~6 miles in the morning to catch the light rail which then takes me to work. And the same return trip home, leaving me at ~12 miles a day. Thats really not much to me any more. Couple times I've done the full ride to work at ~16.5 miles one way. And I even took a super long way home, that was 26 miles.

But the most fun ride I've done so far was to goto Galt. That total trip distance was 58 miles. Yes that correct, I sat on my bike and peddled for 58 miles and it took me 5 hours. Here are a few pictures of the view I got while riding that day.

I think the only way to sum these pictures up is with the word of beautiful.

Well anyways, I had a lot fun doing that ride. I plan on doing other rides here in the very near future and I will be posting them as I do. As for now I must get my sleep. My pesky 3:30am alarm seems to quicker every night.
